(Borago officinalis)

This wonderful herb is believed to have originated in the Eastern Mediterranean region, more specifically, Syria. It became prominent in Central Europe sometime during the Middle Ages, where selective cultivation by German Nuns made it a popular remedy for numerous ailments. Lucky for us, it continued its travels, and has made a new home in North America!
