Rapini is widely used in Southern Italy and, unlike the common rosette varieties, has been cultivated with turnip and mustards to achieve its deliciously distinct bite! Whatever you prefer to call it; Broccoli Raab, Cime di Rapa, Broccoletti di Rapa, or Friarielli, it has a very distinct personality that can take some getting used to! We love it!
